Veterans Day
What a Great Day to honor our Veterans! All of the homes here in Sullivan had ceremonies to honor their Veteran’s. The American Legion visited each home with a special ceremony.
At Sullivan RHCC, Lenda said a few words about our Veterans and the importance of taking time to thank them. She also announced the names and Military branches of all of our Residents who are Veterans. At that point, the American Legion proceeded with their ceremony which included a 21 gun salute and the playing of Taps.
At Courtyard Estates of Sullivan, Taylor Piper, a former Sullivan Singer and daughter of our Wellness Director, sang The National Anthem. After, the American Legion proceeded with their ceremony which included a 21 gun salute and the playing of Taps. The members of the Legion were then invited in to have lunch as a thank you for all they do.
