Balloon Lift Off
The staff and residents at Sheldon Health Care Center continued their celebration of National Nursing Home Week on Monday 5/9/11 by inviting the Community in for Coffee and Donuts in the morning followed by a balloon lift-off on the front patio. The afternoon was spent enjoying an “Up , Up and Away” party where the staff and residents enjoyed Balloon themed snacks, played several balloon games and were surrounded by helium balloons and various balloon animals were the centerpieces on the tables.
Mother's Day
Sheldon Health Care Center started Their National Nursing Home Week celebration with their Mother’s Day Party on Sunday 5/8/11. They had various activities throughout the day including Dancing to Music of Bill Smhra, Mother’s Day Poetry, and Strawberry Shortcake.
Swansea RHCC joins forces with local Fire Department for Fire Safety Education Awareness”

This picture is with the Swansea Asst Fire Chief, Chris Tell, and myself. I am presenting our check for the “National Fire Prevention Education” Program. This program is put forth by the Swansea Fire Department. This program teaches kids about fire safety and each kid is given a book promoting fire safety education. We were glad to contribute financially & assist the fire department to ensure fire safety education for the kids in the area.
