Willow Rose Rehab & Health Care Travel Back in Time
Willow Rose residents and staff traveled back in time on Friday by having a 50’s themed sock hop. The fun filled day included dancing, limbo, bubble gum chewing contest, hula hoop contest, homemade root beer floats and much more. As you can see in the photos the residents and staff had a great time dancing to such classics by Elvis, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis and many more. Pictured in the photos are residents Carrie Ridenbark, Melba Walker, Theda Jones, Eileen Scott & staff Diane Bowman, Tammy Bearce, Carla Shaw, Susan Bowman and Maggie Moore. The staff of Willow Rose strives each and every day to promote fun filled activities that maintain the active lifestyles of our precious seniors.

Shucking Sweet Corn at Flanagan Rehabilitation & Health Care Center
At Flanagan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center the residents enjoyed husking sweet corn as a therapeutic gardening activity. In the picture is Lisa Peters the SS Director/Activity Director along with Zakary Kline Housekeeping. The residents and family enjoyed this time reminiscing the good old days on the farm and enjoyed talking about gardening and canning that they did when they were younger.

Maintaining the Garden at El Paso Health Care Center
At El Paso Healthcare Center we have a facility Garden. The residents and staff have planted tomatoes, hot peppers,pumpkins,green peppers and much more. In the first picture is Amy Schenck and Tricia Poff helping in the garden. It is used as a therapeutic gardening activity. It is a great way for staff and residents to bond.
