You could not ask for a better day for an Easter Egg Hunt. Newman Rehabilitation and Health Care Center hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt on 4/18/14 and as usual had a great turn out! Approximately 60 children participated in the event. Facility staff and residents filled over 1500 eggs so each child had a basket of goodies to take home. Thanks to Loman and Ray Insurance, we also were able to raffle off a girls bike and a boys bike. Debbie Kincaid of Sidell won the girls bike and Rob Miller of Chrisman won the boys bike. We want to give a big thank you to Longview Bank for Co-sponsoring the event and to Loman and Ray Insurance for the donation of the bikes; we could not have had such a successful event without their help.
Tri-Point 4th & 5th Graders of Piper City came to Piper City Rehab & Living Center to spread Easter Spirit. They decorated eggs and made baskets to carry them in and hand delivered them to the Residents. A huge Thanks to them for the extra Easter Smiles!!
