Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Health Care:
On Friday August 19th, Shelbyville had a luau. The tables were decorated with palm trees, sea shells, and tiki balloons. Occupational Therapist Danielle Nichols was the winner of the hula hoop contest. The staff and residents snacked on hawaiian punch with fruit kabobs, pineapple delight desert made by activity director, Sherri Hartline. Shannon Moore, administrator of the facility, treated the staff and residents to grilled fresh pineapple. Our favorite volunteers, Elizabeth and LeRoy Hennings, also came and assisted and participated in the festivities. They also purchased some of the decorations. A great time was had by all.
