Courtyard Estates of Peoria Food Drive
Courtyard Estates of Peoria delivered numerous boxes of non perishable food items to the Salvation Army today. During the month of November, Courtyard Estates of Peoria, Peoria’s premiere Senior Living Community, invited residents, employees and all their families to collaborate and give back to the community they so proudly call home.
“It was so rewarding to see our supportive living community feel so passionate about helping the surrounding areas” states Ashley Steward; Admissions and Marketing Director of Courtyard Estates of Peoria. “I was proud to see our residents take time out of their busy holiday season to help put food on the tables of those less fortunate.”
Courtyard Estates of Peoria believes in helping the surrounding community as much as possible. A lot of the residents living at Courtyard Estates of Peoria have grown up in the Peoria area and it is important to them to keep their roots thriving. The community really came together in the efforts to collect food for the Salvation Army. This has made the holiday season as enjoyable as ever at Courtyard Estates of Peoria.
“During the holiday season things can get very stressful financially for some families, knowing that our facility is filled with such giving people, I just knew this is an opportunity that would warm their hearts and in turn help so many others” stated Amanda Hendricks, Executive Director of Courtyard Estates of Peoria.
Amanda stated “I am so thankful to be surrounded each and every day by such giving residents and employees.”
After the great success of their Food Drive, Courtyard Estates of Peoria has decided to keep the giving spirit going and host a drive for Crittenton Center.
