Courtyard Estates of Peoria One Year Anniversary
PEORIA, ILLINOIS, Amanda Hendricks, Executive Director for Courtyard Estates of Peoria, along with the Executive Team at Petersen Health Care, proudly announce the success of the One Year Anniversary Celebration of Courtyard Estates of Peoria yesterday August 30, 2012.
The event was held on August 30, 2012 4pm-7pm. The facility held a ribbon cutting at 4pm and offered an open house with grand tours, live music, hors d’oeuvres and door prizes immediately following. The event was heavily attended with people of all ages.
Crowds arrived in preparation for the ribbon cutting. The ribbon was cut by Executive Director, Amanda Hendricks with the support of the staff and residents behind her.
“The residents were thrilled to be such an integral part of this ceremony. They waited the entire day with great anticipation for the celebration to begin.” stated Hendricks, Director at Courtyard Estates “We attribute our success to the wonderful residents who have chosen to make Courtyard Estates of Peoria their home”
Residents had their apartments open during the grand tours excited to show off their spacious homes and excited to celebrate and share their memories
“My favorite part about living at Courtyard Estates is that they do everything for me. I don’t have to worry about cleaning, meals or even making my bed!” exclaimed Luella Wenninger, Resident of Courtyard Estates of Peoria. She went on to say “When I found that they would also take care of my medication, I knew right then that this would be the perfect fit for me. I live in a castle and I am the queen”
As the events of the evening took place, the widely known and beloved Jimmy Binkley performed many great hits on the piano. Courtyard Estates of Peoria resident, Don George, accompanied Jimmy with vocals throughout the night.
“Everybody knows Jimmy Binkley! He is part of the history of Jumer’s as he played in the black bear lounge many nights! We were excited to be able to share the evening with him” stated Christina Stubbs, Wellness Director for Courtyard Estates of Peoria.
“All the guests and residents had such a great time. You could see the smiles and hear the laughter throughout the celebration” stated Ashley Steward, Admissions and Marketing Director for Courtyard Estates of Peoria. “There were even people up dancing! “
Don’t forget about those “Famous” Jumer Cinnamon rolls. Yes, those were available as well to all those who attended. Courtyard Estates residents enjoy the famous rolls during the three chef prepared meals they receive as part of their all inclusive package.
