Monmouth Il- Legacy Estates and Courtyard Estates of Monmouth have teamed up annually to collect canned and non-perishable goods for a local food pantry. During this year’s National Canned Food Month, they supported The First Christian Church of Monmouth’s food pantry. Throughout the month, there were shopping carts in the front lobby of each building that were used as drop-off stations, there were also several business in the community who offered to keep a tote for a drop off location.
This year, between both establishments, and the help of several businesses in Monmouth, the staffs were able to present the First Christian Church with two heaping carts full of groceries. “We are proud to be a part of such a giving community and are thankful to be able to help others.” Carie Widener, Executive Director of Courtyard Estates of Monmouth. “We would like to thank all the local business that accepted donations for us this year”, stated Brandi Adams, Executive Director of Legacy Estates of Monmouth. “It is a pleasure to help fill the shelves at FCC pantry to help those in need and a joy to come together with others in the community to achieve it.”
