Monmouth, IL- Legacy Estates of Monmouth, a Supportive Living facility, hosted their Annual Holiday Open House and Gingerbread Competition on December 9, 2016. “Each year, we take this opportunity to celebrate with our tenants, families and community members,” stated Katy Carlson, Marketing and Admissions Coordinator. “We always have such great support from our surrounding communities that the holiday season is a good ‘excuse’ to throw a party just to say ‘thank you’”. Each year there is always a variety of appetizers, desserts and fantastic entertainment provided while everyone socializes. This year, Charlie Hayes of “Even Steven” played old fashioned Christmas Carols on his acoustic guitar which was enjoyed by all.
Along with their open house was their annual Gingerbread Competition, a fundraiser for the tenant’s activity program. This year they had several amazing entries that the tenants of Legacy voted on. The winner received a night’s stay at the AmericInn, dinner for two at Petey’s and a bottle of wine from Market Alley Wines.
The staff at Legacy Estates of Monmouth would like to sincerely thank their tenants, family and community supporters for another fantastic year and for always supporting their Activity Program. Legacy Estates of Monmouth is a Supportive Living facility, owned and operated by Petersen Health Care, a Peoria based company. “Start living the lifestyle you deserve…the Legacy Lifestyle.”
