Robings Manor Rehabilitation and Health Care in Brighton, IL hosted a Healthy Learning Lecture in honor of National Glaucoma Awareness Month on Friday, January 28, 2011. All Brighton community members and residents of the Courtyard Estates of Brighton were invited to participate in a wellness talk presented by Kristine Hettenhausen, Occupational Therapist with RehabCare Group. The presentation provided facts, signs and symptoms and risk factors pertaining to glaucoma as well as daily tips and therapy interventions. Susan Halwachs, Regional Community Relations Coordinator for Petersen Healthcare stated, “We are so happy to be providing this new wellness community outreach on behalf of Robings Manor and the Courtyard Estates of Brighton. We are looking forward to more Healthy Learning Lectures and wonderful community participation in the coming months.”
